Warren is the owner of the funeral home and has over 30 years experience working in funeral service. Warren is a first generation funeral director, and began working at Brown Funeral Home in 1980.  He started at Brown Funeral Home as an employee and worked to become the owner of the funeral home.

Warren was born the last of eight children to Melvin E. and Ethleyn M. Bennett, Sr. and grew up in the suburbs of West Chazy, New York.  He is a graduate of Beekmantown Central School Class of 1977 and Hudson Valley Community College, Troy New York where he graduated with A.A.S. in Mortuary Science with the class of 1979.  Warren married his high school sweetheart, the former Kathy Buckley.  They have two sons; Ryan P. Bennett and Michael S. Bennett.  

Being community minded, Warren is a board member for the Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce,  Charter President of the Plattsburgh Youth Bowling Association and served as a board member of the Plattsburgh Men's Bowling Association.  He was a former member of the Peru Lions Club and was a Charter Member of the Beekmantown Lions Club.  Warren is a former member of the Sunshine Rotary Club.  He has been a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elk's Plattsburgh Lodge #621 since 1981 and a member of St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, New York.  Warren currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Clinton County Nursing Home and Riverside Cemetery Association, and a member of the local BNI chapter.  He enjoys bowling, golf, downhill skiing, boating, traveling and entertaining family and friends.  

Ryan P. Bennett, Licensed Director

Ryan was born in Plattsburgh and reared around the funeral home, helping when he could in his early teenage years.

He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2005 and from the State University of New York at Canton with an A.A.S in Mortuary Science in 2007, starting his residency shortly after. Ryan became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2008,  working along side his family.  In 2008, Ryan started Adirondack Memorials, further helping families by memorializing their loved ones.

As a community minded individual, Ryan is also a member of the Plattsburgh Noon Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, Sons of the American Legion Post 1619 and the Elk's Plattsburgh Lodge #621, where he chairs the Activities Committee and assists with the Elk's Bowling League.  

He enjoys boating, golfing, hockey and is an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

Stephen C. LaPointe, Licensed Director

      Stephen is a lifelong North Country resident and was raised on Cumberland Head, the son of Charles and Margaret LaPointe.
     He graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1983 and the State University of New York at Canton in 1985.  Stephen's career in funeral service began at the Brown Funeral Home after high school and he has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1986.
     Stephen is a parishioner of St. Peter's Church and a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #255 in Plattsburgh and served as Deputy Grand Knight and he is also active in the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Wadhams Assembly # 706 in Plattsburgh, where he is a 4th degree Knight and former Faithful Pilot.  Stephen is also a member of Elks Lodge # 621, and the Lake City BNI Chapter, He is a former trustee of the Sheldon Hill Cemetery Association in Ellenburg Depot and has also volunteered his time with the Cumberland Head Youth softball and soccer programs.
     Stephen's interests include bowling, baseball, genealogy, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Stephen is a proud father of his three daughters, April, Stephanie and Priscilla and an adoring pépé of his granddaughter, Ella Conners..

Micheal S. Bennett, Licensed Funeral Director

Michael is the second son of Warren and Kathy Bennett and a second generation in funeral service.  Michael was born and reared in Plattsburgh.

Michael graduated from  Plattsburgh High School in 2009 and continued his education at Hudson Valley Community College, graduating in May of 2011 with an A.A.S. in Mortuary Science.  Michael has been active in the community,  a member of Key Club and National Honor Society in High School and donating time to the community.

He currently is a member of Knights of Columbus, Elk's Lodge Post #621 in Plattsburgh and The Son's of the American Legion Post#1619.  

Michael enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Monique M. Morris, Funeral Assistant

Monique grew up in Malone, New York and graduated from Franklin Academy High School in 2003. She attended the State University of New York at Canton, graduating in 2005. Monique joined the Brown Funeral Home team in April of 2006.
